Abstract :
Two-dimensional (2D) field-effect transistors (FETs), particularly graphene-based devices, demand careful preparation for reliable electrical characterization. In this seminar, I will first introduce the experimental setup for electrical measurements, including instrumentation configurations and data acquisition schemes optimized for sensitive transport studies. I will then discuss device fabrication strategies tailored for measurements under cryogenic and high magnetic field conditions, highlighting design considerations that ensure stability and reproducibility. Finally, I will address key aspects of electrical characterization, focusing on how to probe phenomena such as the quantum Hall effect, and emphasizing practical points that require close attention during measurements.
This seminar aims to provide useful experimental insights for researchers working on 2D FET characterization in extreme conditions.
