○ Abstract : A magnetic skyrmion is a particle-like topological spin texture, where the formation of knots is a key parameter in maintaining its topology. It has drawn significant attention for its potential use in spintronic devices. From memory to logic devices, the manipulation (creation, deletion, and movement) of skyrmions using purely electric external variables is highly desirable. Recently, we have demonstrated several unique methods for the generation and manipulation of individual magnetic skyrmions, based on a detailed understanding of the skyrmion formation process. Using these methods, we can demonstrate various skyrmionic devices, such as skyrmion racetrack memory, skyrmion transistors, and skyrmion neuromorphic devices. At the end of this talk, I will discuss the prerequisites for achieving quantum characteristics in skyrmionics.
